The IT Integrated Project is designed to bring together all the skills you sharpened during your degree program into a portfolio of work that displays your abilities. These skills include documentation, description and organization in addition to your specific technical skill. You can either design a custom project or take a completed one from either an advanced course in the program, your internship or elsewhere, then add documentation, user specifications and other descriptive material to form the basis of a portfolio that you can use to show your skills to prospective employers. Please do not procrastinate on this project. Though the specs might seem short and simple, the work is not. Dire consequences (including not graduating on time) may come to those who put off starting it for too long. The live section will meet once, with the rest of the semester allocated to self paced work on your project portfolio. When the live section does not meet, I will be available during the scheduled hours for consultation, discussion or any other purpose. You may also e-mail me your work for feedback at any time. Ask if you have any questions. |
